Signature Series
Pie Cut Mandrel Fabrication — The Ultimate Bespoke Exhaust System
Our Signature Series represents exhaust fabrication at its highest level. Each bend is created from preformed mandrel bends, individually cut and TIG welded to achieve the perfect routing, angle, and fitment. This method is extremely labour intensive but allows a level of precision and visual impact impossible with conventional bending methods.
Because every section is fabricated individually, we can create extremely tight-radius bends and complex routing solutions for high-performance builds and restricted engine bays.

Precision Series
CNC Mandrel Bent Exhaust Systems — Performance Without Compromise
Most standard exhaust systems — and many cheaper "custom" systems — are manufactured using crush bending, which reduces the internal diameter of the pipe during bending and creates restrictions in exhaust gas flow.
At Keltec, we use true CNC mandrel bending technology. During the bending process, an aluminium-bronze mandrel supports the inside of the tube, preventing collapse and maintaining a constant internal diameter throughout the bend. This allows exhaust gases to flow efficiently without turbulence or unnecessary restriction.
Our CNC mandrel bending capability places us among a very small number of UK exhaust manufacturers capable of producing repeatable, high-precision performance exhaust systems in-house.

Essential Series
Crush Bent Exhaust Systems — Cost-Effective Custom Fabrication
Our Essential Series is manufactured using our Huth SS300 bender and offers an affordable entry point into custom exhaust fabrication.
Crush bending compresses the tube during the bend radius, causing the pipe to oval and reducing internal flow capacity. In real-world terms, a 2.5" crush bent exhaust may lose approximately 17% of its effective internal volume through tighter bends.
For customers prioritising budget over outright performance, crush bending remains a practical and cost-effective solution.

Every Keltec exhaust system is TIG welded using carefully controlled heat settings to preserve the integrity of the stainless steel and prevent contamination or excessive heat damage.

Premium T304 Stainless Steel

Many mass-produced exhaust systems are manufactured from T409 stainless steel or aluminised mild steel. While cheaper to produce, these materials are highly susceptible to corrosion — especially in UK weather conditions where moisture and road salt rapidly accelerate deterioration.
At Keltec, we exclusively use premium-grade T304 stainless steel throughout the entire exhaust system. Unlike manufacturers who advertise "T304 silencers" while using lower-grade tubing elsewhere, we maintain material consistency across the full system.
